Final Prediction and Conclusion
In my opinion, consumer acceptance for the black and white contrasting trend has only one way to go: up! Fall is the perfect season for black and white because as the weather cools down, the colors that people wear tend to get more neutral or warmer. Also, designers like Balenciaga, Altuzzara, Alexander Wang, Carolina Herrera, Diane von Furstenberg, Jill Stuart, Ralph Lauren, and many more are showing black and white again for Fall 2013. Since the trend hasn't reached maturity yet, we can expect that consumer acceptance will grow further. Black and white contrasting pieces are so flattering and easy to wear that I believe that they are here to stay at least for Fall 2013, if not longer.
